There are many travel blogs and personal experiences that you may come across from people who have travelled in Australia and overseas. The abundance of information may make it hard for you to narrow down where you want to travel and what you want to do when you get there. Some links are provided below to help you map out your journey as well as where to book when you are ready.

Advice on where to travel
There are many different websites and travel blogs that will provide you with ideas and suggestions on where to travel in Australia and overseas. Trip Advisor and Lonely Planet are two online travel guides that are a good starting point when planning a trip.

The type of holiday that you plan really depends on the type of traveller that you want to be. Some people like to be more relaxed and have the freedom to see places at their own leisure whereas other people like to be more structured and planned with the time they have. Either way, it's a good idea to at least look into any must see sights and attractions on your list to make sure they are open when you are visiting and if you are required to book ahead of time.

There are also various tour options if you would like to leave most of the planning to someone else. Contiki, Busabout and Intrepid tours are popular options. You can also have a look at Viator for ideas on attractions and sights to see.
Where to book
You will need to organise flights and you may also want to book accommodation and some attractions ahead of time. You can book these separately or you might find all inclusive packages, especially if you are booking a tour.
